But nothing happens when selecting

Did you update SkinEdit to 2.02 ? New version needs new SkinEdit. Without this, you can have problems.

The same question. Did you update SkinEdit to 2.02? If not, do it. If you have done it and you still can't click 'set skin', the problem must be in something other - but not in elf. Try to use ExtMan instead of regfile or check the path to SkinEdit.elf in ext.ini...

Dear! I'm not an idiot! In the config file elf there is an item with a choice of old or new skins. I use an old version of the skin. And installed everything new, including SkinEdit 2,02. The question remains open. Waiting for an answer!

 To set keys, go to SkinEdit -> Edit Skin -> General tab -> Orientation. If orientation is horizontal, you will switch between icons by key left/right (vertical - up/down). Show/hide key, select key and run gui key you have to set in bcfg.

You set all links, but did you set 'Num. of items' in general tab? If not, do it :)
