-In v3.03 - small bug with increasing/decreasing brightness when ES and IAB are on - FIXED. Now works perfectly.

-EnergySaver System and Inteligence AutoBacklight System FINALLY ADDED!!

Works perfectly on DB2010 & DB2020!!
You need in library: 828A, 828B, 8141, 81B8, 31C, 31D - otherwise phone will restart!!

Elf supports two mode of work - MANUAL and AUTO

1. Installation
-Put an elf into ZBin or Daemons and run it!
-BCFG file will be created in config folder on memory stick
-If memory stick is not present, BCFG will be created on internal memory in Config folder

2. Options
-BCFG Support!:

[*]You can change the keys for increasing / decreasing brightness and key mode (default: volume up / volume down [short press] for DB2020)
[*]You can disable MessageBoxes with information "Brightness Increased" / "Brightness Decreased" !
[*]You can disable brightness control, when media player/radio/camera/screensaver/video player are on!
[*]You can enable/disable EnergySaver System (TM) !!
-EnergySaver system is a great option: When we have less than XX% of battery left, brightness will be decreased to value from BCFG.
For example: If we enable this option, and if we set Battery percent to 15, and decrease to 10, if we have less than 15% of battery left, brightness will be decreased to 10%.
[*]You can enable/disable Inteligence AutoBacklight (TM) !!
-This option sets automatically brightness level according to hour. We can set three different brightness level in BCFG
== from 8:00 to 17:59
== from 18:00 to 20:59
== from 21:00 to 7:59
[*]If Inteligence AutoBacklight™ or EnergySaver are on, Automatic work mode is on. If automatic work mode is on, you can't increase/decrease brightness manually. You need to disable AutoBacklight if you want to manually change brightness (and EnergySaver too - but only, when you have less than XX% of battery left) !
[*]You can use both systems (Inteligence AutoBacklight and EnergySaver System) at the same time!! There are three most advanced conditions, so there is no problem to use both systems at the same time! :)
[*]Elf has security for "out of range" brightness level - if brightness level is equal to 100%, code for improving brightness is not performed, so do not worry ;)

I'm so glad that is working!!

Ad1. - I can't understand this sentence... Do you want to change keys for increasing/decreasing brightness? You must set them in BCFG > Keys Settings. There is everything :) /// Edit: Ohh I undterstood. You want to disable "Phone status" on standby when pressing vol up/down ? If yes, you must enable MSGBox in BCFG - I don't know other way :(

Ad2. - I'm playing with C about a week, but I hope it will be possible :)

And by the way:
I'm working on EnergySaver system now! It is almost ready. You can enable/disable it in BCFG. Brightness will be decreased to a value from BCFG, when we have XX% of battery remaining (XX to set in BCFG too). For example: When we have less than 10% of battery remaining, brightness will be decreased to 20%.

Edgpaez's idea comes true!!



You can enable / disable this, you can set battery percent and level of backlight!



IF EnergySaver System is on, and you have less than xx% of battery left, you can't increase brightness (for example: if you set in bcfg battery percent to 10, and decrease to 10, then if you've got less than 10% of battery, EnergySaver system will reduce backlight level to 10% and you can't set more - so if you want to manually change brightness level, you need to disable EnergySaverSystem).

Now I'm workin' on Inteligence AutoBacklight!

При первом редактировании конфига была перезагрузка при выходе в версии 3.02 .

For me works without problem. Db2010 has not too much heap :( And db2010 is much slower than db2020.
I'm doing a small optimization now. 3.03 and 3.03b is comin'. 3.03b will support BCFG Config Event (configuring the elf directly from bookmanager).

How about showing the percentage of the brightness in the message box?
or a meter
then this will be perfect

Anyway think about that status row clock elf idea too
