What's new?

The target position of the standby screen is now specified by the [SCREEN_POSITION] setting which has unique values (1-9) for all screen sizes. It defaults to the right bottom - in place of date (value "0x06" = 6).

A graphical preview of all 9 possible [SCREEN_POSITION] values is shown in the included screenshot image "[SCREEN_POSITION].png"

More dummy-proof check of the [PHONE] setting

Error and Debug message boxes contain a header

[DEBUG] levels added

Additional debug infos (in debug level 1): Date and time, Screen resolution (x * y px) and size (S/M/L), support of idname functions (0=no; 1=yes)

Debug info is also written to a text file "debug_info.txt" (residing in the .ini file's directory)

can this elf show different text in different places?
for example, can it change text in operator line and in date line at one time?:)

hott_dogg, as you can see in the [SCREEN_POSITION].png screenshot, it can. But now only to test/show the possible output positions 1-9. DayDis v0.9.8 was an important milestone in the progress to support that feature with customizable items. So implementing this feature is work in progress - a future version will allow to completely customize all 9 positions at once.

But for now, the current version can only display one customized item at a time.

MNS81, that's normal. See the description of position 3:

If the second line is not used, then position 3 will not display on the third line, but on the second line instead. In the next version of DayDis, 0.9.9 I will add the ability to always display something on the second line (including "nothing"), so setting [SCREEN_POSITION] to position 3 will actually display to position 3

Can I set (in the last version) the date and the time in different locations??? Like this
I use there DayDis9.0 and DayDis9.8

Using the current version together with an older one that reads another .ini file, as you do it, may not be very performance friendly, but does the trick for now

i can't understend, if idname suport in debug information is 0 i can't use ale display location, right ?

here is my ini file config

i use daydis v0.9.8 build 20080401. i can't do a screenshot but on my One line above the right bottom(in screen_position.png is 6) i see this
